Wild West Wednesday … Halloween Fashion – Cowgirl Style!
What if Wild West Cowgirls wore Witch Hats?
Better yet – what if a Buffalo inspired those same cowgirls to design their own witch hats?
These questions popped up in my mind while having lunch at The Proud Cut – a favorite hangout here in Cody, Wyoming.
Visit the Proud Cut around Halloween … you’ll see moose, elk, deer, pronghorns, and Buffalo – all decked out as western ghosts and goblins. It’s a clever, wildlife-inspired version of Halloween Costumes.
Being Deb Trotter – and the cowgirl artist that I am – I couldn’t resist taking some photos.
And being the Buffalo-Lover that I am – I concentrated on the huge Buffalo Ghost near the bar.
The photo of the spooky Bison became the inspiration for Halloween Fashion – Cowgirl Style.
A Buffalo is such a primal, proud beast – you immediately know it’s a Buffalo in disguise – even underneath a white sheet.
And a Cowgirl is such a gutsy, proud woman – you know she’s a Cowgirl in disguise – even when she’s wearing a cowgirl hat with an Extra Long Crown.
So – I ask you … What IF Wild West Cowgirls designed their own witch hats?
Would those hats look anything like this?
Well … why not?
