Wild West Wednesday: A Cowgirl’s View Of Yellowstone National Park
Deb Trotter’s Cool Cowgirl Shades
Yee Ha! It’s another Wild West Wednesday!
I had originally promised to share how I created my Can Can Cowboy Boot for Cody’s Boot Scoot N Boogie … but sometimes things get in the way. What got in the way this time was iMovie. I had created a little video for you, but for some reason WordPress won’t cooperate today.
When a Cowgirl’s in a bind she knows how to improvise.
That’s just what I’ve got to do … so, I thought you might enjoy some photos I took on another Trotter Road Trip last Sunday. Yellowstone National Park beckoned and hubby John and I answered the call.
Here you go, pardner. A Cowgirl’s View of Yellowstone National Park …
Halfway to Yellowstone, we stopped in Wapiti when I spotted the perfect photo … this magnificent horse was a real camera hog. Don’t you love him?
Portions of Yellowstone were a bit spooky – including this canyon.
Speaking of spooky …
As always – on the way to Mammoth Hot Springs – I begged to take a walk among the intriguing rock formations.
The linear lines of these rocks can really stretch an artist’s imagination.
Is there a more fitting way to end this post? So quintessentially Wyoming!
See you on next Wild West Wednesday – hopefully I’ll have figured out my Boot Scootin N Boogie iMovie problem by then.
Happy Trails!

I know, Donna. I count my blessings every single day & am hoping to spend a couple days there one weekend for a photo frenzy.
How nice to be able to go to Yellowstone for a day trip. (I’m trying to contain my envy.) That is a great horse picture–a handsome animal. And the chuck wagon!!!!!
