Yee Ha!

If you've been craving the smells and flowers of Spring – or if your inspiration has been running a bit low on the totem pole – I've got news for you, pardner. Just in time to help you sew those seeds of creativity, In This Garden, Angela Cartwright and Sarah Fishburn's lusciously inspiring new publication, hits the bookstores in a few weeks!

You'll see gardens you've never envisioned – even in your wildest dreams. Imagine a garden of light and shadows. A grunge inspired New Orleans garden. A garden that literally lights up your imagination. A garden where the Virgin de Guadalupe tends the flowers. An 18th Century garden tended by Marie Antoinette. A contemporary garden of Air, Earth, Water, and Fire. A community garden blooming with love and friendship. A family garden brimming with enormous flowers and sweetly singing birds. A garden of rusted hearts and "knock on me now" doorknobs, enhanced with worn gingham ribbon. A garden ruled by kangaroos among vivid rusts and turquoise. A garden full of paper branches, twigs, and winter whites – all connected by enchanting words. There's even a Prairie Rose & Sagebrush Cowgirl garden (good gosh amighty! Bet you know whose garden THAT one is!)

This cowgirl is downright tickled to be one of the invited participants. It is an honor to have joined these amazing artists who created their own gardens for the book:  Susie Lafond; Denise Lombardozzi; Catherine Moore; Marie Otero; Pilar Isabel Pollock; C.W. Slade; Erica Tysse; Lynn Whipple; Tiffini Elecktra X; and of course, Angela and Sarah! I mustn't forget Alice Scott Morris, whose lovely illustrations unite our gardens and help guide the reader down the path to each and every creation.

Take it from me – you don't want to miss this beautiful book. Jump on your saddle and ride on over to Amazon to pre-order In This Garden!

Happy gardening & creating … and of course …

Happy Trails!

Goodbye, Poppy
